RJA Memorial Mighty Montauk Triathlon.
Founded in 1982 by the late Robert J. Aaron. A beloved resident of Montauk, Long Island, NY. Robert was known for his fearless enthusiasm for endurance activities; such as surfing, skiing, marathon, triathlons and fishing. This race was known for years as "The Mighty Montauk", and it was always considered the east end, season opener. It features a very scenic course through the beautiful hamlet of Montauk. The race consists of a 1 mile swim, 20 miles bike and 6.2 miles run. This fun event is USAT sanctioned.
