COVID-19 Pandemic: Phases of Reopening Long Island

On Wednesday, May 27, Long Island moved into Phase One of reopening from the coronavirus pandemic. The Phase One re-opening includes manufacturing, construction, agriculture, wholesale trade, and retail stores (for curbside pick-up only).

Phase One business categories include:

  • Construction

  • Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing and Hunting

  • Retail (Limited to curbside or in-store pickup or drop off)

  • Manufacturing

  • Wholesale Trade

Phase Two business categories include:

  • Professional Services

  • Retail

  • Administrative Support

  • Real Estate, Rental & Leasing Services

Phase Three business categories include:

  • Restaurants & Food Services

Phase Four business categories include:

  • Art, Entertainment & Recreation

  • Education
